    You think you are part of 'cool kids crowd' til you are not listed :(

    Great bunch anyway :)

    @FloridaFuture

    ~Susan

  3. Nick Bastian says:

    Nice list… At least the epicenter of the blogging world got two great mentions in Jay and Kelley. :-) @DeanOuellette, @DruBloomfield, @PapaGrande, @JMcHood, @SteveBelt, @CWaterhouse @RailLife and a “few” others come to mind. Man, this could easily be a “100″ list. :-)

  4. “My girlfriend, Heather, is the Bay-est Realtor right here in the southern state of NORTH Cay-ro-lina. She will just hook you ryte up with the perfect house for YOU!”

    :) ….Heather, I am very excited someone other than me knows how GREAT you are.

  5. Jeremy says:

    Time for me to go on the lookout & see who I don't have so far. One Thing I do have on Bill is that I have at least met @heatherdedona before f2f :) @myrtlebeachblog

  6. Great list of People Derek! One thing I have over @billlublin is that I have met @heatherdedona f2f. She is way coolio :)

  7. 2 other names for your list:

    @rerockstar
    @mizzle

  8. ARDELL says:

    I want to know what that cute little kid in the header on the right is playing with.

  9. Derek Massey says:

    The perfect #followfriday for RE folks new to Twitter. Follow these people stat!

  10. davewoodson says:

    @davewoodson – the Mad Mortgage Machine. Sorry, shameless plug, but I think I follow and am followed by most of the top 50 and beyond, great list just missed it by one

  11. :) I think it's funny that those on the list of tweeting the list… Human nature is pretty interesting. Gosh, there are so many more that could be listed. @Mizzle would be high on my list…. @rewebcoach, @rerockstar, @acemaker @monikamcg, @jessicahorton (even when she's mean to me) @acummings, @drewfriste, etc….

    It's hard to narrow this list down to 50 or even 100.

  12. Great list of the most informed in the industry. Strange how I feel like I know so many of you, esp Sarah!! Thanks for posting.

  13. Kris Berg says:

    I feel oddly out of place on this list, but thanks Derek! (The pressure is killing me — Need to go tweet something poignant now before I am stripped of my crown.)

    With one exception (me), great list. I'm honored to be among them.

  14. No pressure at all Kris. Just keep being yourself and all will be fine!

  15. I like #55 or #60 are they available?? Let's put Stockton, CA on the map!

  16. This is cool. Thanks for the info. It does kind of remind me of Homecoming Court from high school. Who won King and Queen? Popularity contests are fun.

  17. I wasn't meaning for it to be a popularity contest Kori. My intention is to give people new to Twitter some people that I feel are good follows. I could have used a list like this when I got on Twitter the first time and thought it might help others. Plus I'm adding to the list every month because as we all know, good people don't just stop at 50.

    Derek

  18. I know your intentions are good. I think your list is great and full of great people. I follow most if not all. But if you can't see how this may come off as a popularity contest, you're lying to yourself. If it were me doing the list, I would keep it much shorter. I would list maybe 10 people. They would be listed because I think they are truly making an impact on the industry. Not just really good at being social, though I guess I could see how that may be beneficial to beginners. I'm still wondering who the King and Queen.

  19. Well it is people I know and I think some of them are indeed “popular” with many other real estate folks. But there are some on this list that have only been on Twitter for a short while but bring a certain knowledge or personality to the platform that I feel people could benefit from. Am I going to put someone on this list that just slaps up all of their blog posts on their Twitter stream…probably not. But there are people on this list that have made my experience on Twitter more enjoyable and I've even learned a thing or two. All lists are subjective but that is why I am making this an ongoing list that will hopefully bring some value to the people that choose to view it. I would have to say @ResPres is the King. I'm not touching the Queen with a 10 foot pole because I know better! lol

    Derek

  20. I managed to snap a pic of @ResPres accepting his RE.net Homecoming King crown: http://www.flickr.com/photos/38134749@N03/36954…

  21. Solid list but there are two glaring omissions:

    1. Brad Andersohn http://twitter.com/bradandersohn Community Builder at Active Rain and former Title rep

    2. Kevin Boer: http://twitter.com/kevinboer Pat Kitano's partner at Domus and Realtor

  22. Now that is some funny stuff there. You are going on the next list for humor alone!

  23. I know Dean. So many people to add. Thank goodness I have August, September, October, November and December. lol

  24. Finally getting to comment. Wowsers! I'm still in shock that I'm included amoungst these giants in SM and twitter. It is also very cool that many of them have postively influenced me and my career in the last year. Thanks @roost and Derek! I owe you HUGE hugs at RE BlogWorld!

  25. I'll take you up on that Sarah. I guess that is what this list is all about. Not how many followers you have or how long you have been on but what you bring to the table. Good Tweets! And you my dear do just that!

  26. billlublin says:

    Just for the record – I need to credit Sarah for being in the conversation on Twitter where my epiphany occurred. And yet – see how modest she is (as well as lovely) As you point out Derek – its about what you bring to the table- can;t wait to see the next group – no doubt they too will be awesome !

  27. Thanks Bill. Some think this is a popularity contest which it is not. I agree that some of the names on here are very popular but that is not WHY they are on here. They bring value to the conversation and I know new people can benefit from their conversation.

  28. Bill – Sarah as in me? I was part of an epiphany? BTW, you get loads out props for naming my blog! I find myself giving you credit about 3 times a day lately! MWA!!!

  29. Are you and Bill have a love fest on my blog? I love it!

  30. I forgot to leave my thanks here! Thanks Roost for thinking of me and putting me in the company of such stellar company!

  31. Thanks for putting out great stuff on Twitter!

  32. KimWood says:

    Not cause I forgot to comment here…. it was cause I wanted to appear last.

    *THANK YOU ROOST* and Derek I'm honored to be among those named.

  33. Jay Thompson says:

    Just commenting so Kim wouldn't be last… ;)

    (Oh come on, you KNEW that has to happen)

  34. That was nice Dean, thanks for the Kudos, I'll let Kevin know you threw out some love for us here! Thanks for putting this together Derek, great list of some really great folks.

  35. That was nice Dean, thanks for the Kudos, I'll let Kevin know you threw out some love for us here! Thanks for putting this together Derek, great list of some really great folks.

  36. Great list :) Thank you for sharing it :)
