Roost’s 50 RE People You Should Follow on Twitter for November 2009

Can you believe it’s already November? It may be getting cold outside but here at the Roost Blog, we are heating things twitter_logoup with our fifth installment of Roost’s 50 Real Estate People You Should Follow on Twitter. If you are seeing this list for the first time, you need to stop and click the July List, August List, September List and October List first because you will have access to 200 real estate people that simply rock on Twitter. These lists will come in very handy if you are heading off to San Diego this week to attend REBarCamp San Diego and the NAR Conference & Expo as it will provide you with people you should make a point of meeting face-to-face.

In our fourth installment of “50 Featured.” we are highlighting an industry veteran in Pam O’Connor AKA @LeadingrePam.

Like I always say, if you have someone you think should be part of the 50 for December, send me an email to derek.overbey@roost.com and give me their Name and Twitter handle and why we should add them to the mix. I hope you continue to enjoy these lists as much as I do in putting them together. Please note that the list below is not in ranking order (we like everyone equal). If you’d like to follow some of us here at Roost, you can click on @AlexChangSF, @doverbey or @roost.

    Yay! Another popularity contest.....Barf!
  • Life is too short! Sorry you feel that way but when you start taking shots at people without even knowing them, I have to cut you off.
  • Love your comment because it couldn't be farther from the truth. It's is kind of hard to have a popularity contest for five months in a row. Sorry these lists don't help you in particular but they do help a lot of others!
  • Gotta echo Jay (waaaaaaay up there) ... one of the reasons that I love these lists is that they've given me the opportunity to meet some really wonderful people. And I'm so glad that I've gotten to meet many of them, as you say, F2F (and lots more to come at NAR this week). Thanks, Derek, for all of your hard work in putting these together.
  • Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside to hear this kind of reaction. They are not the easiest things to do but I know they bring a lot of good to the world of real estate and beyond. And that is enough to keep 'em coming. You are awesome Melissa!
  • Awesome, and I'm not even a Realtor. "I keep trying to get out. They keep pulling me back in!" And, I'm so glad you do. Love you guys.

As King Agrippa said to the Apostle Paul, "Almost thou persuadest me to be a Realtor." :-) (Well, he said something like that anyway.)
  • You don't have to be a REALTOR to be on this list Paul. You just have to be awesome! I think you fit the bill!
  • No one on here from Canada?
  • I have on the other lists but not on this one. We need to change that don't we!
  • brownandstowell

  • You are welcome Gia. I think you and Grant are awesome people and everyone should be exposed to some awesome no and then!
  • I love these lists. Makes me smile to realize how many I've had the pleasure of meeting in real life. And I hope to meet more this week in San Diego!
  • Thanks Jay. I realized on this month's list how many people I forgot I knew on the other four lists. I counted up and found that I have met more than 500 people f2f over the last year. That is simply mind blowing if you ask me!
  • SWEET! I love your lists better than mine ;)
  • But your lists are put together by a rock star!
