Roost is Bringing Some New Blood to the Blog

In a continuing effort to bring the readers of “A Bird’s Eye View” the most compelling content possible, we are proud to announce two new groups that will be joining us here at the Roost Blog.

First is the “Roost Mommy Blogger Network” that will be bringing us a unique perspective to the happenings in their neck of the woods. Stories will include anything from discussing schools to insights into great local restaurants to buying and selling a home.

We are especially excited to announce the first member of the “Roost Mommy Blogger Network” Kim Tracy Prince. You may be familiar with Kim from her very popular blog “House of Prince.” She has been blogging for several years and we are thrilled to have her join our blogging team here at Roost.

Kim Tracy PrinceKim will be bringing us a very interesting perspective as she is going through the home buying and selling process for the very first time and she will be chronicling her activities in a little section called “Diary of a Moving Mom.” Look for Kim’s first entry tomorrow as we follow her along on this wonderful and wacky trip with her and her family.

The second group that will be contributing to “A Bird’s Eye View” is the “Roost Local Agent Blogger Network.” This is a collection of some of the top agent and broker bloggers in various locals from around the country that will be providing real estate and community information from the local perspective.

The “Roost Local Agent Blogger Network” includes some great people including:

  • Brad Coy, agent with San Francisco Real Estate Services – San Francisco, CA
  • Dale Chumbley, agent with Prudential Northwest Properties – Vancouver, WA
  • Heather Elias, agent with Century 21 Redwood Realty – Loudoun County, VA
  • Ginger Wilcox, agent with Alain Pinel Realtors – Marin County, CA
  • Jay Thompson, broker with Thompson’s Realty – Phoenix, AZ
  • Andy Kaufman, agent with Keller Williams Realty – Berkeley, CA
  • Ines Hegedus-Garcia, agent with Majestic Properties – Miami, FL
  • Lori Bee, broker with Bee Realty – Waxhaw, NC
  • Bill Lublin, CEO of Century 21 Advantage Gold – Philadelphia, PA

We will be adding additional Mommy Bloggers and Local Agent Bloggers to our networks very soon, so check back often. In the meantime, we hope you’ll enjoy all the new material we will have for you courtesy of our latest Roost Blog team members.

If you would like to be considered for inclusion in one of these networks, please contact Derek Overbey at derek.overbey@roost.com.

Welcome to the Roost family guys! Thanks so much for getting involved and really excited to hear what you have to say.
  • Props to ROOST for picking the Cream of the Blog-Crop!!!
  • Thanks for the warm welcome. This is a great opportunity and it's an honor to be in such good company. Roost brings a lot of great ideas to the table, I only hope that I can provide something of interest to the mix in representing San Francisco.
  • A great group you've got there.
  • You know what I love? I mean absolutely love? .....
You put WAXHAW ! Yeah baby. LOL.

And for those of you who don't know, Charlotte is Waxhaw's little Suburb to the North. And I look forward to sharing info about real estate here, AND what an awesome lifestyle we have throughout the Carolinas, almost as much as I Iook forward to hearing from these other fab bloggers across the country.

Woah, the mommy bloggers in the house! You guys won't know what hit you. Glad to be on board, and hopefully my angst will help people.
  • Great lineup and I look forward to hearing from them all! I like the idea of having someone (in this case Kim Prince) blogging through the first time experience. My guess is that a lot of agents will read that just for the insight into the ups and downs from the other perspective.

  • Honored to be in such great company :)
