Roost’s 50 RE People You Should Follow on Twitter for September 2009

So here is our third installment of Roost’s 50 Real Estate People You Should Follow on Twitter. If you are seeing this list for the first time, you need to also click the July List and August List (see links below) because there are some of the most awesome people in real estate who just so happen to be on Twitter. For the month of September, we dug a little deeper and discovered some people you may not know yet, even if you’ve been on Twitter for a while. We really hope you enjoy this month’s installment because even we found some great people we weren’t following.

We are also continuing our highlight section called “50 Featured.” This month’s “50 Featured” is the amazing Jim Cronin AKA @retomato.twitter_logo

As always, if you have someone you think should be part of the 50 for October, send me an email to derek.overbey@roost.com and give me their Name and Twitter handle and why we should add them to the mix. I hope you continue to enjoy these lists as much as I do in putting them together. Please note that the list below is not in ranking order (we have to keep telling @respres it doesn’t mean he’s #1 overall). If you’d like to follow some of us here at Roost, you can click on @AlexChangSF, @doverbey or @roost.

“50 Featured” for September 2009 – Jim Cronin AKA @retomato

CroninJimI’ve met a lot of great people over the last few years and Jim is definitely one of them! If you mix 1/3 Fun, 1/3 Smart and 1/3 Real Estate, then you would have the exact DNA of Jim. Real Estate is not just a learned trait for Jim but it is in his blood seeing he comes from a family that owns American Heritage Realty in Cape Cod. He left the Cape in the mid 90’s to travel out to California to mesh his two passions: technology and real estate.

Jim is currently the President of the Real Estate Tomato where he has helped thousands of retradio8Realtors develop a superior internet presence. His focus is on personal training, the embrace of social media, and the development of beautiful and powerful blog sites.

Jim is also host of the popular bi-monthly Internet radio show Tomato Radio where he interviews top-notchpersonalities from the world or real estate and technology. If you’ve never had the pleasure of meeting Jim in person, you really need to introduce yourself the next time you run into him at the various real estate tradeshows and conferences. Jim rocks!

  • I would like to back @respres' position that top of list means #1. Oh wait, that makes me #1!

Seriously, how awesome that I am in any list at all. It's not quite a Grammy, but I'm proud of it anyway. The Grammys are lame anyway.
