Front Page

We’re very proud to unveil our beta version of Roost to the world today. At its core, Roost is a real estate technology platform with two very clear aims:

First, we empower local and regional real estate brokers in their online marketing and sales efforts by providing them with individual property search sites that help drive high quality visitors directly to them.

Second, we help consumers find the right home at the right price, by giving them access to these local broker sites via a powerful, intuitive and fun search engine for homes.

What does this mean?

Well, for consumers it means we’re able to offer a terrific search experience for homes that is fast and visually appealing, easy to use and most importantly comprehensive in the homes it finds for you. We’ve partnered with local & regional Real Estate Brokers as well as the local Multiple Listing Services to provide this service and ensure that you can browse through all the homes for sale in your market in a way that we hope you’ll agree – is incredibly simple, yet powerful.

For our REALTOR® partners, Roost is a powerful marketing platform that allows them to reach qualified and engaged consumers actively looking for homes for sale. Roost is fundamentally an open and inclusive platform and we leverage the Broker Reciprocity, or “IDX” standards in each market to ensure that we are compliant with each local MLS’s rules .

We’re proud to list some of the country’s premium brokers among our partners, including, @properties, Century 21 Sussex and Reilly, Coldwell Banker Burnet, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, David Winans GMAC Real Estate, Intero Real Estate, Long & Foster Real Estate, Prudential CA/NV/TX Realty, Prudential Carruthers Realtors, Prudential Fox & Roach, Prudential Gary Greene Realtors, Prudential California Realty, Tarbell Realtors, Willis Allen Real Estate and many others.

Roost is Local
One of the most important things to understand about Roost is that we are 100% focused on getting this experience right in the specific markets we support. We only launch each regional market once we have ensured that we have great local partners on board and access to comprehensive data, so we can provide the freshest, most accurate data for home seekers, and the most relevant web site visitors for brokers.

The Roost public beta is available in the following markets today:

Atlanta, GA Homes For Sale; Baltimore, MD Homes For Sale; Boise, ID Homes For Sale; Boston, MA Homes For Sale; Chicago, IL Homes For Sale; Dallas, TX Homes For Sale; Fort Worth, TX Homes For Sale; Houston, TX Homes For Sale; Minneapolis, MN Homes For Sale; St. Paul, MN Homes For Sale; Anaheim, CA Homes For Sale; Philadelphia, PA Homes For Sale; Portland, OR Homes For Sale; Sacramento, CA Homes For Sale; Modesto, CA Homes For Sale; San Diego, CA Homes For Sale and Washington, DC Homes For Sale.

We’ll be adding to these markets throughout the coming months so please let us know if you’d like to see us in your area!

  • Let me be the first to comment on your blog.

I think your website has great promise, even with the overload of real estate websites online. The keys to your success will be comprehensiveness in your markets, accurate search and brand awareness. I think you are on the right track. Good luck and success.

    I gave Roost high marks.

  • PS Thanks for the roll... I just noticed it.
  • Let´s hope you cover some other important markets very soon, it is good to see projects like this come up in a tough market.

    Good luck
  • I wrote a post on GeekEstateBlog about your launch. Looking good so far!
  • Tom
Looking forward to the possibilities offered in this tools' exhuberant capabilities.
    Best wishes
  • MannyMo
    Loving your site. Good luck!
  • I wrote a post about your release on our site. Do you have any time lines as to when you might be in the Southern Territories like Florida ?

    Thks
  • Tom - Our plan is to be in the Florida markets (Miami, Tampa/Orlando, etc.) as well as several other major metros across other parts of the US next. If you would like to contact me directly for more details just send an email to matthew.cullen@roost.com

    Thanks for your interest.
  • I see a lot of promise here, with your focus on local professionals in a partnership arrangement. The first site to fully resolve the national/local problem will be way ahead of the pack. Having quick, hassle-free access to reliable, local information is a great service to consumers tired of hit-and-miss, iffy information.

I hope you will consider smaller, but vibrant markets like Savannah Ga. I'd be onboard.
  • Like many agents, I'm interested in what kind of additional promotional opportunities you will have for both showcasing properties and individual agents.
  • Mike -

We should talk. We already cover GAMLS and will be adding FMLS very soon in Georgia. Send me an email if you would like to learn more. The beauty of the Roost platform is for the large and small broker to have a voice and drive traffic from their Roost site to their core site.

  • Lydia -

We would be very interested in learning about any of your ideas around showcasing properties. We have some ideas but hearing from the actual brokers and agents will help us in providing the best possible marketing products to help you move your business.

  • Matt,

I sent you an email. I look forward to your response.

  • Looks good and fairly easy to navigate
  • It's a very clean looking site. As a user, I don't like busy sites and Roost is nice and clean and simple.
  • Yes it is a nice clean site. I personally quite like a bit of flash graphics as well, but not too much.
